Rest, Relax, Rejuvenate!

Self care needs to be a priority. We have been taught to believe that if we do take time to relax, then we aren't doing enough. A healthy balance of work and rest is essential. Without rest, our body and mind will eventually have a breakdown, either in the form of panic or a physical ailment. We have to remember to cherish the goodness around us, keeping us motivated to do and be better.


Choose healthy ways to relax. Sleep, if you haven't allowed yourself to do so in fear of a deadline, practise yoga, go for a walk, listen to music, play with your pet pals, if any, dance to release the anxious energy or make time for your hobbies. There are so many ways to relax. If you choose to relax via social media, gaming, or viewing movies or series, be mindful of those not becoming a distraction. We all have our own ways to rest and rejuvenate.


Keep in mind though, everything is great in moderation!
